The Enzo Drawings
Simply, Enzo making is a japanese buddhist artistic practice where you draw a circle (the Enzo) in one brush stroke. The mark is said to reveal the true character of the artist and is a symbol that reaches across time and cultures.
Here I use the paint, ink, and dye I make from the black walnuts and grapes I harvest as an occasional artist-in-residence and apprentice herdsman at Moonstone Farm to draw and immerse my Enzos.
This is a small sample of the Enzo's on exhibit in the gallery at Katherine's Garden
